Wappapello Lake will be a favorite place to celebrate the holiday this weekend. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers spokesperson Becky Hays expects huge crowds at the lake. She says there are a couple of special events planned. The first is tonight.
Tomorrow night is the annual lake fireworks display. It starts at dusk and should last 25-30 minutes.
