Beginning July 1, 2022, Reverend Tom Ebersole will be the new lead pastor at West Lawn United Methodist Church (WLUMC). His first Sunday leading worship at WLUMC will be this Sunday, July 3, 2022.
In May 2010, Ebersole became an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. Since 2015, Ebersole has been the lead pastor at Wayne United Methodist Church, in Wayne, PA. Prior to this appointment, he was the pastor at Valley Forge United Methodist Church and Messiah United Methodist Church. He attended the United Methodist Northeast Jurisdiction Local Pastors Licensing School at Drew University, and later completed his Masters in Divinity at Palmer Theological Seminary in Wynnewood, PA.
Reverend Ebersole and his wife Kimm both grew up in Chambersburg, PA and have been married for 36 years. They have two grown sons, Cole and Ross. Reverend Ebersole graduated from Penn State University in 1987 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Earth and Mineral Sciences.
The West Lawn United Methodist Church congregation welcomes Tom and Kimm, and looks forward to being in ministry with the Ebersole family.
