California man arrested on alleged murder charges in Laramie

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - California man is in custody after being arrested on 2nd Degree Murder charges. On June 27, 2022, at approximately 7:43 p.m., Laramie Police Officers began investigating the report of a missing person. As a result of the investigation, 29-year-old Hunter O. Fulton was arrested for 2nd Degree Murder (WS 6-3-402) and Mutilation of Dead Bodies (WS 6-4-502).

Wyoming Statute 6-2-104, Murder in the second degree; penalty, whoever purposely and maliciously, but without premeditation, kills any human being is guilty of murder in the second degree, and shall be imprisoned in the penitentiary for any term not less than twenty (20) years, or life.

6-4-502. Mutilation of dead human bodies; concealing a felony; (c) A person who mutilates a dead human body or disposes of a dead human body in a hidden, undisclosed or transient location in order to conceal a felony offense is guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten (10) years, a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00), or both.

These charges are merely accusations, and the subjects are considered innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
