Report: Jevon Carter returns to Milwaukee Bucks on two-year contract

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Former WVU guard Jevon Carter will play his fifth NBA season in the same city that his fourth season ended. According to a report from Shams Charania of The Athletic, Carter and the Bucks have agreed on a new two-year contract.

The NBA free agency window opened Thursday evening and a flood of moves were announced shortly after.

Carter has also played with the Memphis Grizzlies, Phoenix Suns and the Brooklyn Nets in his four-year NBA career. Carter played the final twenty regular season games with the Bucks last season after being waived by the Nets. With the Bucks, Carter averaged career-highs in minutes per game [17.7] and points per game [5.6]. Carter also played in eleven playoff games.

Carter will serve as an assistant coach for the WVU alumni basketball team Best Virginia in The Basketball Tournament in late-July.
