Silver Alert canceled for missing 78-year-old Town of Middleton man

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A Silver Alert issued for a 78-year-old man was canceled Thursday evening after the man was found safe.
Officials issued a Silver Alert Thursday for a missing Town of Middleton man who hadn’t been seen since earlier this afternoon.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice stated that the 78-year-old was last seen around 4 p.m. when he left his residence in an unknown direction.
In an update around 8:30 p.m., officials noted he was located and is safe.
