Lansing police investigating shooting Thursday evening at Holmes, Waverly roads

LANSING – Police were investigating a shooting Thursday evening in the area of West Holmes and South Waverly roads.

A 33-year-old man transported himself to a hospital with an apparent bullet wound that was not life-threatening, Lansing police said. Officers found evidence that a shooting happened near the intersection, they said.

The incident happened around 5:15 p.m.
