Update 12:53 p.m.:
The following statement was issued Friday by Savannah Police:
"A 31-year-old man is facing charges after a domestic-related incident at his home on Delessepps Avenue that resulted in the stabbing of four family members.
Officers responded to the residence in the 1900 block of Delesseps Avenue around 7:30 p.m. June 30 and discovered four victims between the ages of 38 and 65 suffering from stab wounds. The suspect, identified as Roger Hendrix, was also located in the home suffering from self-inflicted stab wounds. All five of the injured parties were transported to a hospital for treatment. All of the victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries and have since been released from the hospital. The suspect remains hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
An investigation determined the suspect stabbed one of the victims. The remaining victims were injured while attempting to disarm the victim.
Upon his release from the hospital, Hendrix faces four counts of aggravated assault-DVA and single counts of terroristic threats-DVA, simple battery-DVA and cruelty to children-DVA."
Update 11 p.m.:
Authorities say one person stabbed four family members and was also stabbed during the incident.
Police have not shared additional information at this time.

Five people have been rushed to Memorial Health in Savannah following a "multi-victim stabbing."
According to Chuck Kearns with Chatham County Emergency Services, it happened shortly before 8 p.m. on DeLesseps Avenue near Springhill Road.

Savannah Police say a family dispute resulted in four victims and the suspect being stabbed.
One of the victims suffered serious injuries.
Several Savannah Police cruisers blocked the area off to traffic and yellow crime scene tape surrounded the single story home.
No further information was immediately available regarding the other victims' conditions or their identities.
