Patty Mills is reportedly returning to the Nets, as ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the sharpshooting veteran has agreed to a two-year, $14.5 million deal with Brooklyn.
Mills, 33, recently turned down a $6.2 million option, but now will make more money on his new contract.
Mills was a major asset for the Nets last season, shooting 40 percent from downtown after the team lost its top 3-point shooter in Joe Harris to a season-ending ankle injury.
While Mills returns, the Nets will likely look a lot different next season, as both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant are expected to be traded.
