Armed Robbers Held Multiple Victims at Gunpoint

On Saturday, June 25, 2022 at approximately 11:00 pm, the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office was notified of an armed robbery that had occurred in the Hayfork area, with multiple suspects involved.

Responding officers were advised that multiple male adults were possibly involved and had left the scene in a blue mini-van, in an unknown direction. Additionally, there were multiple victims who were held at gunpoint and bound. Once the victims were able to free themselves they called 911 and responding officers located and stopped the suspect vehicle on State Route 3 near Deerlick Springs, where three individuals were stopped and detained, with the assistance of the California Highway Patrol.

The three suspects were later positively identified as being involved, and evidence was located inside the vehicle connecting the suspects to the scene. All three were arrested and transported to the Trinity County Jail for booking.

Due to the ongoing investigation and the nature of the crime, no further details will be released.

Brandon Blair Hingle DOB 01/13/1995 from Avondale, LA
Charges: 211 PC – Robbery
182 PC- Conspiracy to commit a crime
422 PC – Criminal threats
29800 (a) (1) – Felon / Addict in possession of a firearm
30305 (a)(1) – Prohibited person in possession of ammunition

Tyler James Archon DOB 08/22/1994 from St. Martinville, LA
Charges: 211 PC – Robbery
182 PC- Conspiracy to commit a crime
422 PC – Criminal threats
29800 (a) (1) – Felon / Addict in possession of a firearm
30305 (a)(1) – Prohibited person in possession of ammunition

Michael Marel Boutte DOB 09/12/1995 from Iberia, LA
Charges: 211 PC – Robbery
182 PC- Conspiracy to commit a crime
422 PC – Criminal threats

I’ll add that they had large capacity magazines in a handgun and long gun that were used during the robbery.

Upon googling the second name Tyler James archon, brings up a black man from Louisiana. I believe they were all black.

I’ll further add that there was another 1 to 2 vehicles associated with the robbery that WERE NOT found.

It’s likely that up to 3 other suspects are free.
