ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – An Ithaca man threatens an employee with a knife.
50-year-old Charles Stillwell was arrested earlier today for allegedly threatening a worker with a knife at an Elmira Road business. Ithaca Police were able to de-escalate the situation and take Stillwell into custody without incident. Officials say the defendant and victim did not have a prior relationship and no one was injured.
Stillwell is charged with felony (Class D) criminal possession of a weapon and (Class A) misdemeanor menacing. He was remanded to Tompkins County Jail without bail.
