Carolyn Elaine Casey, 75, of Newport departed this life on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She was born May 6, 1947, to Garland Eugene and Geneva (Reed) Franklin. She was born and raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Carolyn was of the Baptist belief. She loved to work in her garden and liked planting and growing flowers and vegetables. She also enjoyed cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Laura.
She is survived by her son, Steven Price of Memphis; her daughter, Danielle Marshal of Conway; her brother, Dale Franklin of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her good friend, Shaniqua Dean.
