Paducah PD: 2 arrested after crack cocaine, other drugs found in home

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – Two McCracken County men face charges after an investigation by the Paducah Police Department’s Drug Unit.

Liwan Quantae Martin, 26, of Westbrook Boulevard, was arrested on a warrant charging him with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (second offense), trafficking in marijuana (less than eight ounces – second offense), second-degree possession of a controlled substance and failure to wear a seat belt.

Quandarius T. Jones, 20, of South 9th Street, was arrested on bench warrants charging him with failure to appear.

Paducah Police Department detectives and officers served a search warrant Wednesday afternoon at a home in the 1100 block of Greer Street.

Officers found Martin and Jones with outstanding warrants at the home. They were arrested and booked into McCracken County Regional Jail.

Neither man lives at the Greer Street home, but both are kin to the resident.

During the search, officers found seven grams of crack cocaine; two guns, one of which was confirmed to be stolen from McCracken County; approximately 185 oxycodone pills; and approximately 4.5 ounces of marijuana, according to Paducah police.

Police say more arrests are likely as the investigation continues.
