‘Weird Al’ Rocks With A President In Seattle
"Weird Al" Yankovic is taking his "Unfortunate Return of the Ridiculously Self-Indulgent Ill-Advised Vanity Tour" all across the United States, but only in Seattle was he able to be joined on stage by presidential royalty.

If you've never heard of Al's "Unfortunate Return of the Ridiculously Self-Indulgent Ill-Advised Vanity Tour", what kind of rock have you been hiding under. It's the tour he has always wanted to do, especially since the last time he did it (back in 2018). In short, the "Unfortunate Return of the Ridiculously Self-Indulgent Ill-Advised Vanity Tour" is a more intimate, scaled down show, much different than what many may be use to seeing from the weird one. No parodies (or at least, not in the way you know them), instead each show focuses on Al's original works.The that last self-indulgent ill advised vanity tour had a special treat, a cover song special to that particular city, that was performed at each of the 77 shows. I'm glad that it seems this tradition is continuing on.

When the "Unfortunate Return of the Ridiculously Self-Indulgent Ill-Advised Vanity Tour" made it's stop Tuesday night (June 28th) in Seattle at the Moore Theatre, it turned into a full blown alternative rock concert at the very end. Lucky for us, someone was there to film it. When Al covered the song "Peaches" by The Presidents of the United States of America (a band that started out in Seattle), he was joined on stage by the band's lead singer, Chris Ballew. Check out the video below.
Even though The Presidents of the United States of America dissolved in 2015 (according to their Wikipedia page), it's great to see Chris out there, rocking out and loving the music he created, in the city that helped launch his career.
Al & Other Presidential Work
For those of you wondering, how these two would come together, don't forget, that Al has previously met and worked with the group, as Al does his best to get permission for his parodies from the original artists.
