After it was recommended for approval by West Des Moines' Plan and Zoning Commission, city council members will vote Tuesday on the site plan for the upcoming Dave & Buster's.

Dave & Buster's plans to build a standalone facility at Jordan Creek Town Center. The site plan was recommended for approval Monday, and will be voted on by West Des Moines City Council Tuesday.

The arcade and sports bar chain plans to build a stand-alone location at 170 South Jordan Creek Parkway, near the Residence Inn by Marriott.

Though recommended, the approval comes with the condition that a building permit will not be issued until the final plan is approved by city council.

The arcade and sports bar chain began planning a location in the Jordan Creek Town Center in spring 2019. Though there is not yet a timeline for the project, when the building is completed it will be the first Dave & Buster's in Iowa.
