WATCH: Kentucky police officer saves 1-week-old baby who had stopped breathing
A 1-week-old baby who had stopped breathing outside a Louisville gas station is doing well thanks to the heroic actions of a Louisville Metro Police officer, according to the LMPD's Facebook page.
LMPD First Division officers Noah Cole and Nick Greene were inside a gas station at 18th and Broadway when a man rushed inside telling them that his baby was not breathing.
In the video on their Facebook post, you can see the two officers quickly rushing outside to help.
Officer Cole's body-cam captured footage of Officer Greene performing "back blows" on the baby girl, named Emma.
She can be seen quickly crying out as her breath returns and Greene returns Emma back to her thankful mom.
"There we go. There we go. There we go," Greene can be heard saying before telling his partner that the situation is under control.
"We are happy to share that Baby Emma is doing fine! Thank you to Emma's family for allowing us to share the video!" said the post.
The video went on to say that Emma's family said she was "home, happy and healthy."
