Suspect arrested in connection with June 9 shooting
PEORIA (25 News Now) - A man has been arrested in connection with a June 9 shooting that left one man injured.
On Wednesday, June 29, Peoria Police arrested Joseph L. Pate, 38, for aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.
On June 9, at around 11:48 p.m., police were called to the 1200 block of North Ellis Street regarding a multiple-round ShotSpotter alert.
A victim was found in the 600 block of West Main Street.
He was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
