Julie Trausch has been named the new chief operations officer for the Fremont Family YMCA.
Trausch has 12 years of YMCA experience at three different associations across Nebraska and Iowa. She has worked in customer service, marketing and membership. She also has served as a branch director.
Additionally, Trausch spent time in the corporate sector working in commercial account management, business development, vendor management, inventory and profit analysis and process improvement.
Trausch, who is an avid University of Nebraska football and volleyball fan, begins her new duties on July 7.
