Ocean City police Wednesday arrested a Caroline County man they say stabbed three people near the boardwalk last week.
Paul Baynard, 23, of Ridgley, faces charges of attempted first-degree murder, assault and reckless endangerment.
Police said on June 20 just before midnight a fight broke out among multiple people in the area of Wicomico Street and Atlantic Ave. When officers arrived, they found two men and a teenager who had been stabbed.
All three victims -- a 17-year-old boy, a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old man -- have been released from hospitals and are expected to recover.
Using security cameras, detectives were able to identify Baynard as one of the attackers, police said. A 17-year-old boy has also been charged in the stabbing attack.
Detectives tracked Baynard to Queen Anne’s County and arrested him there without incident, police said.
Baynard is currently being held without bond at the Worcester County Detention Center in Snow Hill.
