Freedom Fest 2022 will be held on Monday, July 4, at the Steelville City Park. The annual Independence Day celebration is sponsored by the Steelville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Food and craft booths will open at 2 p.m. and booth space is still available, with a starting cost of $30.
The car cruise-in, presented by River Valley Rod and Custom, begins at 3 p.m.
Live music will begin on the park stage at 4:30 p.m. with local musicians. Honky Tonk Time Machine takes the stage at 6:15 p.m. The annual Salute to America is at 8 p.m. and Sondown will perform at 8:15 p.m.
The Fantastic Fireworks show, produced by Showtime Pyrotechnics, LLC, will start at 9:30 p.m.
Admission is $5 per vehicle at the front gate and $1 per person at the foot bridge. The fee is collected from 2 to 9:30 p.m.
