The Perryton School Board appointed a new member to serve the remainder of an unexpired term, and dealt with several staffing items at its meeting Tuesday evening.
The board voted to appoint Bryce Hale to finish out the unexpired term of Tyler Merkel, who resigned earlier.
Hale will serve until the next election in May 2023, when the term expires.
