Rome, N.Y. — A 44-year-old Rome man has been charged with repeatedly raping a girl under the age of 17 over the course of several months, troopers said.

- First-degree attempted rape
- Two counts of first-degree criminal sexual act

- Endangering the welfare of a child
The victim is being offered support through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, troopers said.
