Bethany Reserve unit to be deployed overseas

An officer addresses soldiers and family members attending the departure ceremony for a 21-member platoon at the Bethany Army Reserve Center. The ceremony was held at the American Legion Hall. The group departed for Texas where they received additional orders before leaving for an unknown destination.

Bethany, MO: The 387th Human Resource Detachment is deploying overseas again.
The American Legion Post and the VFW Post sponsored a farewell ceremony for the soldiers and their families. The ceremony was also sponsored by the local Hy-Vee store. The 21-soldier platoon left Saturday, June 26, for Ft. Bliss, Texas, to receive additional training.
