A Bunnell woman has been charged with culpable negligence after her 13-year-old son accidentally shot himself with a gun she allegedly left unsecured in the house.Jolani Hood-Sharma, 37, was arrested this week for the incident that occurred in May. She posted a $10,000 bond and is out of jail. Hood-Sharma was originally charged with having a firearm in violation of an injunction but the state attorney's office filed the additional charge on June 20. Hood-Sharma was arrested Tuesday. Prosecutors say Hood-Sharma stored the loaded gun under her mattress where her son found it and while playing with it, shot himself in the leg.
