Two women were arrested and booked into jail on drug charges Wednesday night in Cherokee County.

Those include 25 year old Serina Gagnon, of Sugar Hill, who was charged with Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia and with Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree; she was booked in at the Cherokee County Detention Center at 6:35pm.

Margaret Ray, age 22 from Gainesville – was arrested and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (two counts), Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs, the Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, with the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and the Possession of a Concealed Weapon without a Permit.  Ray was jailed at around 6:30pm.

The two were arrested by Cedar Bluff Police.
