SAN ANTONIO - A domestic dispute has led a man to shoot a woman in the head before turning the gun on himself, according to police.

The shooting happened just after 7:30 a.m. Thursday at a home off Burnet Street near Mel Waiters Way on the East Side.

Police said when they arrived, they found the woman in critical, but stable condition. She was rushed to the hospital.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are talking with a witness that was inside the home at the time of the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
