George, IA (KICD)– The former President of Northwest Iowa Community College has died after a battle with cancer.
Alethea Stubbe passed away Wednesday at the age of 64. She served the college from 1991 until she retired last year holding a number of different positions including being named the first female President, a role she held for ten years.
A memorial service is planned for Friday morning at 10:30 at Hope Reformed Church in George.
