Buchanan, Tenn.–Fireworks will be lighting up the night sky at Paris Landing State Park on the Fourth of July again this year.
The fireworks display will be sponsored by the Henry County Tourism Authority, Paris-Henry County Jaycees and Friends of Paris Landing.
David “Tater” Hayes, who has overseen the 4th of July fireworks for the Jaycees for several years, said the fireworks will be set off at 9 p.m. July 4 at the beach where Tennessee River Jam was held last week.
Crews will be working throughout the afternoon setting up the equipment for the fireworks display, Hayes said.
The fireworks display can always be seen for miles around on both sides of Kentucky Lake.
Fire department personnel will be on hand, as always, on site during the fireworks show.
