Crash, cement spill impacted traffic around North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Police responded to two incidents impacting traffic around North Charleston Thursday morning.
The North Charleston Police Department says they were on the scene of a head-on collision on the Mall Drive overpass between Lacross Road and Rivers Avenue.
As of 10:15 a.m., Deputy Chief Ken Hagge says Mall Drive has reopened.
A separate incident was impacting traffic on Dorchester Road near I-526.
Hagge says a cement truck spill closed the right lanes of Dorchester Road toward Montague Avenue.
The accident is now clear and the road is back open.
