What things can Carolina Panthers fans look forward to during what is sure to be another rollercoaster season in 2022?

It’s been all doom and gloom for the Carolina Panthers over the last few years. The team’s memorable Super Bowl run in 2015 seems like a lifetime ago considering what’s transpired in its aftermath and some big changes might be on the horizon if things continue trending downward for head coach Matt Rhule next time around.

Genuine progression is the minimum expectation for Carolina in 2022. Fans are growing tired of little effort and a lack of winning football, which has to change immediately to reignite hope that hasn’t been evident for quite some time now.

Dwindling home attendances and almost no confidence in the franchise’s current direction is simply a microcosm of how team owner David Tepper has fared since buying the organization from Jerry Richardson. But aside from one or two problem positions, there is cause for slight optimism without getting too carried away.

With this in mind, here are four things that Panthers fans can look forward to in 2022.

Carolina Panthers have improved their OL

After countless years of misery regarding offensive line performance, things are finally looking up for the Carolina Panthers after an outstanding period of recruitment. Three new starters were acquired across the protection and Brady Christensen also looks set for more involvement following some extreme positional mismanagement during his rookie campaign.

Austin Corbett and Bradley Bozeman will instantly solidify the interior. The Panthers also drafted the top player on their draft board and secured a franchise left tackle in Ikem Ekwonu at No. 6 overall.

If Taylor Moton remains supremely consistent, then fans should finally witness high-quality offensive line play. Something that will also improve the team’s chances for good measure.
