CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WCHS) —
An inmate at a federal prison in West Virginia was sentenced to two years Wednesday after admitting to assaulting another inmate, prosecutors said.

Mark Justin Daniels, 36, pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to do bodily harm, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of West Virginia.
Daniels was accused of assaulting another inmate at FCI Hazelton in Bruceton Mills in January 2021.

He was sentenced to two years of incarceration, which will run consecutively to any sentence he is currently serving.
