Man shot in central Fresno, nearby roads closed

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police are investigating a shooting in Central Fresno.

Officers were called out to Pacific and Teilman Avenues just after 4 AM on Thursday.

When they arrived, officers found a man shot in the lower body.

He has been taken by ambulance to the hospital and is expected to recover.

Police have the area blocked off, and residents traveling in the neighborhood must take a detour.
