GLCAC July gallery show features work by Mike Rodino

Pontiac Daily Leader

“Multiple Personalities” by Mike Rodino is the July 2022 featured show in the Joe Bailey Gallery at the GLCAC (Greater Livingston County Arts Council) Art Center. It opens on Tuesday, July 5, and will run through the end of the month. An opening reception is scheduled for Saturday, July 9, at 5 p.m. The Joe Bailey Gallery is located upstairs at the Art Center. An elevator/lift is available.

This show is the third for Rodino and is a one person show for the Art Center. “Multiple Personalities” features three different disciplines that he is creatively involved with at the present time. His assemblages receive the greatest share of his effort; but the spray panels, which morphed out of his assemblage work, have become a major creative challenge.

Most recently, he has been trying to integrate his first love, oil painting, back into his repertoire.

The Art Center at the Greater Livingston County Arts Council and Gallery is located at 209 W. Madison St., Pontiac. The show may be viewed during regular hours. Hours for the Art Center are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sundays noon-4 p.m. There is no admission fee and the public is welcome.
