A bomb threat at the north St. Joseph Walmart turned out to be nothing, but did prompt the store to evacuate all employees and customers.
St. Joseph police say Walmart officials reported receiving a bomb threat shortly after eight o’clock Wednesday night. Officers responded. The store cleared about 20 employees and numerous shoppers so a manual search could be made. Nothing was found.
Operations at the Walmart on North Belt Highway resumed around 9:30.
