ALLENDALE, Mich. (WOOD) — Although Juneteenth has been celebrated nationwide for many years, primarily in Texas, it only recently became a federal holiday.
This has ignited a conversation about how to celebrate both the Fourth of July and Juneteenth while respecting the feelings some Americans may have about freedom.
