The Jamestown Downtown Association (JDA) Annual Kiddie Bike Parade will be held on the morning of Independence Day.

Parade participants ages 12 and under will meet at 9:30 AM for bike judging and a chance to win a new bike. The parade will then proceed down 1st Avenue starting at 10 AM, ending at McElroy Park. Lambrecht says there, they’ll announce winners and serve up some treats.

She says participants will also get a coupon for a free ice cream cone at Dairy Queen and a coupon for sparklers from Fantastic Fireworks.

There is no cost to register for the parade. Participants are asked to wear helmets and parents or guardians can walk with the parade down 1st Avenue.
