Milbank U8 Cash In at First Bank & Trust Tourney

Milbank’s U8 baseball team took home the title in the First Bank & Trust Tournament on Sunday, June 26, in Milbank. The tournament was held at Pribyl Park, and was the first in what is designed to be an annual event. Ortonville ended up in sixth place. Milbank won by defeating the Watertown White 15-2 in the championship game. 

Results include: Pool A Milbank 21 vs. Watertown Yellow 2 Groton 5 vs. Watertown Yellow 4 Groton 3 vs. Milbank 13
Pool B Watertown Red 15 vs. Ortonville 7 Watertown White 12 vs. Ortonville 5 Watertown Red 14 vs. Watertown White 16
Last Round In the game to determine fifth place, the Watertown Yellow defeated Ortonville 19-6. Watertown Red defeated Groton 8-7 to take fourth place. In the final game, Milbank took down Watertown White 15-2 to take first place.
