Obsidian Gallery Tattoo to move to previous location

Obsidian Gallery Tattoo will be moving to its previous location. 

R.T. Leisen, owner of Obsidian, said the shop will be moving to its previous location at 22 2nd Ave. S.E. Leisen first opened the shop in 2016, but moved to its current location on Sixth Avenue in 2020. That decision came after Leisen decided that he wanted more room.

Leisen remodeled the current shop, but recently received notice that the owner would be selling the building. Instead of risking a possible rent increases under a new owner, Leisen said it made the most sense to move back to the original buildig.

Leisen plans to open back up at the new location during the first week of July.
