Menomonee Falls Police Blotter

The following information was obtained from the Menomonee Falls Police Department.

Vehicle theft
A 2021 Volkwagen Atlas was stolen from International Auto Group, N88 W14060 Main St., sometime during the month of June. The theft was reported to police on June 28. There are no suspects.

Theft
The rear license plate of an AT&T vehicle was removed between June 23-27 while the vehicle was parked in the company parking lot at W156 N4649 Pilgrim Rd.

A rear license plate was removed from a motorcycle parked in W13400 block of Overview Drive between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. June 15

Drug-related offenses
The driver of a vehicle was arrested for possession of a controlled substance on June 27. Police responded to the Woodman’s gas station after a Flock camera identified a stolen vehicle. The driver was contacted and denied knowledge of the vehicle being stolen. Marijuana was later located in the vehicle, and the driver was taken to the Waukesha County Jail on a probation hold.

A driver was cited for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Main Street and Rozanne Drive on June 25. An officer initiated a traffic stop for a turning violation. During the traffic stop, the driver detected the odor of intoxicant emanating from the vehicle, the driver admitted having possession of marijuana and marijuana and drug paraphernalia were later recovered from the vehicle.

A 19-year-old driver was arrested and booked after a vehicle was stopped in the N7000 block of Northfield Drive for a suspended Class D registration. After detecting the odor of marijuana, an officer conducted a search which led to the recovering or marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

A driver was cited for possession of THC after a traffic stop on Appleton Avenue near Elm Lane on June 22. An officer initiated a traffic stop for an equipment violation observed a leafy green substance in plain sight that was later determined to be marijuana.

A 62-year-old man was arrested and booked for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop near Pilgrim Road and Eileen Avenue on June 17. An officer initiated a traffic stop due to a expired registration. An officer detected the odor or marijuana emanating vehicle, and the driver admitted possessing marijuana.

Trespassing
A person was arrested, booked and cited for trespassing following an incident in the W16000 block of Junction Way on June 25. The person was found intoxicated and asleep in a model apartment during a model showing. The person returned after being advised to leave.

Operating a vehicle while intoxicated
A driver was booked and cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Main Street and Madison Avenue on June 25. Officers responded to a report of a possibly intoxicated driver. The officer detected signs of impairment during the traffic stop and had the driver perform field sobriety tests.

Littering
A subject was cited for littering on June 11 after dumping trash in a trash bin belonging to a business.

Found items
A wallet was found near Silver Spring Drive and Enterprise Drive on June 22. The wallet was turned into police and later returned to the owner.

A wallet was found in the W15100 block of Appleton Avenue and turned into police on June 19. The owner was identified but could not be contacted. The wallet was placed in an evidence locker.

A black and red Nokia phone was found in the 5400 block of Badger Drive on June 20. The phone was turned into police. Attempts were made to turn on the phone, but no charger was available. The phone appeared to be very old. As a result, the owner could not be located.

An abandon purse was located in the W13300 block of Lund Lane on June 18. The purse was turned over to police and later returned to the owner.
