Don't miss the boat! Ocean Navigator makes its final visit of the year to Port of Green Bay Thursday
GREEN BAY - Missed your chance to check out the cruise ship Ocean Navigator when it visited Green Bay earlier this month? You have a second chance until 7 a.m. Friday.
But it'll be your last chance to see the 286-foot ship locally this year.
The Ocean Navigator returned to visit the Port of Green Bay on Thursday morning at Leicht Memorial Park, on the west shore of the Fox River. The ship, built in 2000 and refurbished in 2015, is back in town for a 24-hour stop, according to Discover Green Bay, a sponsor of the visit.

The ship can carry 202 passengers and 84 crew members. It carried about 100 passengers when it visited Green Bay on June 16.
The public is welcome at the park during the time the ship is docked; a security perimeter will be in place. The ship is due to depart Green Bay at 7 a.m. Friday.
The visit is one of six scheduled for the Port of Green Bay through 2024.
The passengers will engage in a "hop-on-hop-off" tour planned by Discover Green Bay and local tour operator C&M Presents. Stops on the tour include the Neville Public Museum, Lambeau Field, The Automobile Gallery, all in Green Bay, and the National Railroad Museum in Ashwaubenon.
Passengers also will have free time to explore the city on their own.
The ship will dock at a spot that recently received $740,000 worth of improvements funded and installed by the city.
