3 men found dead in Kankakee home
Three male bodies were found in a home Wednesday afternoon in suburban Chicago.
KANKAKEE COUNTY, Ill. - Three men were found shot to death in a home Wednesday afternoon in suburban Chicago.
The bodies were found around 2 p.m. inside a Kankakee two-unit rental home located in the 600 block of West Merchant Street.

Neighbors say they heard multiple gunshots just before 3 a.m. Police were notified mid-afternoon by a relative who went to the home for a well-being check.
Kyle M. Washington, 25, Deontay M. Tyler, 24, and Malcolm D. Murray, 27, were found dead on the second floor of the building, police said. All men were from Kankakee.
It’s unclear how the gunman got inside the apartment.
Detectives spent hours collecting evidence from the scene. Those who live nearby are shocked.
"They were cool people. They never bothered me. We just said hi," one neighbor said.

No suspects are in custody at this time.
