Barren County Middle School football seeking players for the upcoming season

GLASGOW, Ky. – Football season is right around the corner, and Barren County Middle School football is looking for students to join the team.

If your child is entering middle school in the Barren County school district, BCMS football is looking for seventh-graders who want to play.

The team has 15 active players currently, but they’re needing roughly 25 to 30 students for a full season.

Joining is completely voluntary and the only expense you have to cover is practice gear.

The head football coach says this is an opportunity for young athletes to build character on and off the field.

Chad Eaton, the head football coach of BCMS said, “I’d love to give them a chance to know what it feels like to be successful, to win, but like I said, this isn’t about wins and losses. This is strictly just giving these kids the opportunity to succeed and give them confidence in life.”

If your child would be interested in joining the team, just bring an updated sports physical to the Barren County High School football stadium on July 11th at 5:15 p.m.
