Four-star Oklahoma wide receiver Cole Adams committed to Alabama football Wednesday, giving Alabama nine commits and the first pass-catcher of its class of 2023.

Adams, 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, picked Alabama over Oklahoma and Arkansas. The Owasso recruit first took an official visit to Alabama in June before visiting Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Adams, the nation's No. 302 recruit according to the 247Sports Composite, planned to make a decision in the next month, he told the Tulsa World on Saturday, but committed to Alabama four days later.

He had 55 catches for 913 yards and eight touchdowns and averaged 10 yards per carry on 18 rushes as junior.

Adams received his offer from Alabama wide receivers coach Holman Wiggins in January and took an unofficial visit in March.

Alabama's other offensive commits are four-star Louisiana quarterback Eli Holstein and four-star tackle Wilkin Formby from Northridge in Tuscaloosa.

In the last week, Alabama also landed five-star defensive back Tony Mitchell, three-star Mississippi safety Brayson Hubbard, JUCO linebacker Justin Jefferson and 2024 receiver Perry Thompson from Foley, Julio Jones' alma mater.
