WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The West Palm Beach Police Department have dropped the emergency alert after they searched for a suspect in the area.
West Palm Beach Police arrested suspect Jo'Nathan Huggins on Thursday night.
Police had been searching for 20-year-old Jo'Nathan Huggins in a carjacking that occurred early Monday morning at 4:30 at the U-Gas station on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard.
Police say he and the victim knew each other, and that the victim was pistol whipped and possibly grazed during the carjacking.

Huggins was taken in for questioning earlier Wednesday, during which time he ended up escaping police custody.
A search took place in the area of Sapodilla/Australian Ave to 7th Street/Banyan Blvd. It was scaled back at around 6:30 PM on Wednesday night.
