Farm to Fourth

Celebrate the Fourth of July at the Red Stick Farmers Market on Thursday, June 30. According to BREADA, the event will feature meat, seafood, and veggies grilled by vendors, jambalaya, and live music. This event will take place at Pennington Biomedical Research Center starting at 8 a.m. until noon.

4th of July at USS KIDD

Tickets are on sale for USS KIDD’s “Patriots and Pirates, a Revolutionary Celebration.” The event starts at 5 p.m. on Monday and features museum access, food and beverages, and the best fireworks view. For more information, click here.

Springfield Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks

Festivities begin at 5 p.m. Friday, July 1 with a kids’ parade. After the parade, there will be an opening ceremony at the Springfield Fire Station, located at 32280 Terry Street. There will be food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, games, custom and classic cars and a fireworks show. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

Celebration in the Park & Fireworks

The City of Walker will be hosting a Fourth of July event at Sidney Hutchinson Park where families can enjoy a farmers market, food trucks, live music, and games.
