Step Aside, ‘Stranger Things’: Millie Bobby Brown to Star in New Sci-Fi Movie on Netflix

We’ve all come to know and love actress Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven in the popular Netflix series, Stranger Things. And now, she’ll be returning to the sci-fi universe in a new movie directed by the Russo Brothers (Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame).

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the young actress is teaming up with the dynamic duo for a new Netflix movie, titled The Electric State. And the best part? Chris Pratt, who has been a notable member of the Marvel universe, is in talks to join her on the project.

Netflix made the big announcement on all their social media platforms, which gave a brief overview of the film’s narrative. The Electric State will revolve around an orphaned teenager (Brown), who embarks on a journey to the American West with a robot and an eccentric drifter in search of her younger brother.

The movie adaptation is based on the 2018 graphic novel written by author Simon Stalenhag. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely will serve as screenwriters, while the Russo Brothers will direct and produce the film. No further details have been released regarding the project, but production is slated to begin this October in Atlanta, Georgia.

Oh, we’ll definitely be watching.
