Hasbrouck Heights Police were called around 10:25 p.m. to a home in the 400 block of Terrace Avenue on a report of a possible drowning, Chief Joseph Rinke said in a statement, NJ.com reports.

Upon arrival, police found a woman "on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive next to a hot tub, located in the rear of the house," Rinke added.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Rinke said local police and investigators with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office determined no foul play was involved in her death.

The medical examiner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine her cause of death.
