Services for S. B. Bundage, Jr., a Coalgate resident, will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo, TX. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bundage was born July 16, 1948, to S. B. Sr. and Annie Ruth (Sanchez) Bundage at Fort Benning, GA and passed away June 19, 2022, at Durant, OK at the age of 73 years, 11 months, and 3 days.

He graduated from San Angelo Central High School in California and married Gaynelle Harrison August 10, 1994. They spent 27 wonderful years together.

S. B. served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam war conflict and was an administrative clerk for General Telephone Company. He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and enjoyed bowling, calligraphy, and watching all sports. S. B. loved to barbecue and helped open the Wesley Soup Kitchen. His favorite times were spent with his family. S. B. was a very loving man.

Survivors include his wife Gaynelle Bundage of the home in Coalgate; daughter, Keesha Bundage and Quinta of Lancaster, TX; sister, Janice Harris and husband Dwight of San Angelo, TX; special friend, Kenneth Smith of Grand Prairie, TX; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many dearly loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, S. B. Sr., and Annie Ruth (Sanchez) Bundage; sisters, Allamay O’Neal, Geraldine Fielder and Jo Nell Walker; and one brother.
