Funeral services for Donald Sain, a Lehigh resident, were held Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Lehigh Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Magby officiating. Burial was in Lehigh Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements. Mr. Sain was

Mr. Sain was born March 23, 1935, to Ray and Gladys (Jones) Sain at Farris, OK and passed away June 22, 2022, at Ardmore, OK at the age of 87 years, 2 months, and 30 days. He graduated from Atoka High School and married Colleen Kuhn on May 10, 1958, at the Lehigh Baptist Church. They celebrated 64 wonderful years together. Donald’s career was serving in the Air Force for 20 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He traveled all over the world with his family. He then worked for 10 years at McGee Creek State Park as an inspector and retired from there. In later years he helped his son, Donald, at Boggy Bottom Powdercoating, working there for the last 10 years until he became ill. Don was a hard worker and loved to garden and always kept a perfect yard.

Survivors include his wife, Colleen (Kuhn) Sain of the home in Lehigh, OK; son, Donald Sain and wife Rhonda of Bentley, OK; grandson, Donald Dillion and wife Rachael of Shawnee, OK; sisters, Liz Brower of Farris, OK, Judy Coffey and Donna Sue Sain, both of Oklahoma City; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dearly loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Gladys (Jones) Sain; brother, Bruce Sain; and sister, Vereeta Rhodes.

Casketbearers were David Milam, Bill Lowe, Billy Lowe, Jeff Armstrong, David Ward, and Ronnie Butler. Honorary bearers were Don Walker, Jerry Jones, Michael Talley, and Shelby Milam.
