Victim of Peoria’s latest homicide identified
PEORIA (25 News Now) - The victim of the city’s latest homicide Tuesday has been identified.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says Michael Davis, Jr., 32, of the 1000 block of West McClure, was pronounced deceased at OSF at 526 p.m. Tuesday.
An autopsy demonstrated that he suffered from multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body and had injuries incompatible with life.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide and remains under investigation by the Peoria Police Department.
Police responded to the 1000 block of West McClure at around 4:11 p.m., locating an adult man outside, not breathing and without a pulse.
