SYLVIA BANDA PEDROZA

Sylvia Banda Pedroza, 69, of Amarillo and formerly of Olton, died Thursday, June 23, 2022, in Amarillo. Rosary was said Friday, June 24, 2022, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton. Mass was celebrated at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, in Olton, with Fr. John Smith officiating. Interment followed at Olton Cemetery under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Sylvia was born June 10, 1953, in Leesville, TX, to Marcelo, Jr. and Rosa (Pena) Banda. She earned her Associates degree in business administration and was a certified CNA. On June 15, 1983, she married Oscar Pedroza. Moving to Amarillo from Olton in 2000, Sylvia was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Amarillo. Sylvia enjoyed dancing, traveling, and reading.
